Henry's connection with cannabis began at the age of 16 when he started growing weed in his mom's basement. This early interest soon led to trouble; at 18, he was caught selling and spent time in jail. However, these challenges only fueled his determination. By the age of 20, Henry was growing weed on a major scale until a DEA raid in 2008 temporarily halted his operations.

Born and raised in Lansing, Henry spent a decade perfecting his craft before facing incarceration. His experiences motivated him to give back to the community upon his release. He founded East Side Fish Fry, a business dedicated to hiring felons and those on probation or parole, with 60-70% of the workforce fitting this description. Henry's commitment to second chances and community support is evident through his sponsorship of local programs and events.

Despite facing obstacles in operating a business, Henry's relentless advocacy led to meetings with state representatives, eventually allowing him to be licensed and own his dispensary, Fortuo. As Henry famously says, "I’ve been waiting 26 years to give me a rule book, and I’m playing that to a T."

Henry's approach to growing weed remains true to his roots, using techniques honed from his early days.
